How does spray tanning work?
Once the customized tanning formula is airbrushed onto your body, the amino acids in your skin will respond naturally to the DHA and other complementary ingredients in the tanning formula to produce the most beautiful sunless tan you’ve ever seen. Airbrush tanning eliminates all of the mess and problems associated with tanning creams and spray tanning booths. There is no streaky mess, orange palms, or dirty looking knees and elbows. This is a personal treatment tailored to your individual needs. No two people are alike, and your spray tan should suit you and your skin type – GLOW LLC will custom blend the perfect color for your skin type/tone.
How long should my tan last?
The average result is 5 to 10 days of color. Factors such as skin type, activities, and maintenance can cause your results to vary. However, the longer and more regularly a client tans, the better the tanning effect will wear. To extend the length of your tan, air dry or pat your body down lightly after showering or swimming. In addition, GLOW LLC offers Products that will help keep your tan lasting longer.
Is it safe?
YES. The main ingredient in our sunless tanning product is known as dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA is organic and a simple non-toxic sugar. DHA is FDA approved for external application. Please consult your spray technician for further information and client form.
How long does a tanning session take?
On average, a full body session can take 15 to 20 minutes.
How can I maintain a great color all year ’round?
It is recommended that you spray tan once a week, in order to maintain your tan. It is also recommended to keep your skin moisturized daily.
How will my tan fade?
The way the tan fades is dependent on the way each person naturally exfoliates his/her skin.
What do I wear to my tanning appointment?
Wear loose fitting dark clothes
What do I wear while I’m being sprayed?
You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in, for example: thong, bra & panties,
boxers, underwear, or swimsuit. You can choose to go topless.
How long do I have to wait for my Spray Tan to develop?
At GLOW & GO it takes between 8-12 hours after application to develop. This means that during that time you cannot come into contact with any water at all. We recommend waiting until the next day to shower after your spray tan. GLOW & GO also offers rapid tan which develops within 1-3 hours. These are quick developing solutions (for a small additional cost) when you don’t have time to wait.
